SUPERSTARS ALL AROUND US

Where do we begin with our incredible single host father, William Ladnier, from Biloxi, Mississippi? He is an inspiration to so many, including his two daughters and our fantastic exchange students. William has a passion for exploration and loves sharing the world with his daughters through travel. By hosting students from around the globe, they have expanded their horizons even further. As you'll see in the video, the Ladnier family embraces a blessed life, one they wholeheartedly share with ICES students.

We at ICES, along with my team in Mississippi, are deeply grateful to William and his daughters for their dedication and contributions to the exchange program.

STUDENT OF THE MONTH

Aituar SOTM

Congratulations to Aituar Shakhayev, our February Student of the Month! Since arriving in Bozeman, MT, Aituar has embraced every opportunity, from excelling academically at Gallatin High School to making the highly competitive basketball team.

His host family describes him as an amazing role model and big brother, always eager to share his culture, teach Kazakh traditions, and cook traditional meals. His positive attitude and adventurous spirit shine through in everything he does—including learning how to snowboard this winter!

Aituar’s journey to becoming an exchange student was fueled by hard work and determination, and he’s making the most of every moment. His dedication, kindness, and enthusiasm make him so deserving of this recognition.

As our Student of the Month, Aituar will receive a certificate of achievement, a letter of recommendation from ICES President John Crist, and a $100 Giftogram.
